In this course we will be working on the Open Build System (OBS), which is an inhouse project that aims to develop an open-source building system based on 3d printed modular parts. OBS is planned to be an ongoing project, that continues from semester to semester. The goal of OBS is to develop a modular building system, that consists of 3d printed parts. The parts fits together in a standardized way, so it is possible to build machines, robots, structures etc. You can build anything you can imagine in OBS.

As a student on this course, you will be working on various aspects of the OBS project, which can include a lot of different software development, electronics, microprocessors etc. As a student you must keep and update a personal log over the work you do on the different project you are assigned to. This personal log will be the basis for the exam.

The graduate will possess knowledge of:
